We love our pets!

At times, due to sickness or an untrained animal, accidents do happen. You may have tried in the past to tackle this issue yourself or paid a "professional" to remove the pet odor, with no resolve.

We have proven techniques that will resolve the odors in your rugs. This process does require more than a simple cleaning or heavy perfumed de-odorizers, which only mask the problem temporarily. Our technique requires that we soak your rug for a minimum of 8 hours to completely dissolve the urine salts that are embedded in your rug. Your rug will then be cleaned and extracted of all contaminates to make your rug sanitary and smelling fresh again.

Our pricing for pet odor removal and cleaning is based on the square footage of your rug and is $3.50 a square foot.

When should you have your rug cleaned?

1.Pick up a corner of the rug and while holding it, kick the back of the rug sharply. If a cloud of dirt flies out of the pile, the rug is dirty and needs cleaning. NOTE: some dust and wool fibers are normal!

2.Kneel down on the rug and rub the pile vigorously with your hand in a short arc for 5 to 10 seconds. Look at your fingers and palm: if your hand is dirty, the rug needs cleaning.

3.With the pile facing UP fold part of the rug back upon itself so that the pile opens along a line of knots. Look down into the base of the pile at the foundation of the rug. If the warp and weft look dirty, there is dirt deep in the pile where a home vacuum cleaner cannot reach it. The rug needs cleaning.

How do I keep my rug clean?

Vacuum your area rug regularly. This prevents dirt from building up. Vacuuming your area rug regularly helps to keep your home clean and allergy free. To get the maximum amount of dirt out, turn your rug upside down first and vacuum the back of the rug. This loosens deep down dirt to the top of the fibers. To avoid getting frayed edges and worn fringes do not vacuum over the edges of your area rug.

Blot any spills with a 100% white cotton towel. For wet spills lay towel on the spill and stand on the towel, as the towel gets wet move it to always have a dry area over spill. When blotting up a spot rub in straight lines toward the center of spill, NEVER go in circles, this causes damage to the rug and may spread the spill.

Use a simple cleaning solution. For most spills a damp white towel and a mixture of 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water and blotting is best. For other spills refer to our spot cleaning guide. ALWAYS DO A TEST SPOT FIRST TO MAKE SURE THE COLORS OF YOUR RUG DO NOT BLEED/RUN.
